چکیده
BackgroundThe design of a videolaryngoscope blade may affect its efficacy. We classified blades as standard and non-standard shapes to compare their efficacy performing tracheal intubation in children enrolled the Paediatric Difficult Intubation Registry.MethodsCases entered Registry from March 2017 January 2020 were analysed. compared success rates initial eventual intubation, complications, technical difficulties between two groups by weight stratification.ResultsVideolaryngoscopy was used 1313 patients. Standard 529 740 patients, respectively. Both types 44 In weighing <5 kg, had significantly greater than at (51% vs 26%, P=0.002) (81% 58%, attempts intubation. multivariable logistic regression analysis, 3-fold odds intubations with (adjusted ratio 3.0, 95% confidence interval): 1.32–6.86, P=0.0009). 2.6-fold kg 2.6, interval: 1.08–6.25, P=0.033). There no significant difference found ?5 kg.ConclusionsIn infants videolaryngoscopy associated rate blades. Videolaryngoscopy is sensible choice for who weigh kg.

متن کاملGlideScope Videolaryngoscopy in the Simulated Difficult Airway: Bougie vs Standard Stylet
OBJECTIVE GlideScope(®) videolaryngoscopy (GVL) has been shown to improve visualization of the glottis compared to direct laryngoscopy (DL). However, due to the angle of approach to the glottis, intubation can still be challenging. We hypothesized that novice GVL users would be able to intubate faster and easier using an airway introducer (frequently known as a bougie) than with a standard intu...

Over the centuries, energy has been supplied by wood, coke, coal, oil and natural gas, as well as by uranium (nuclear energy). All these energy sources are limited and at the same time these energy sources create pollution problems. This has led to the focus on a sustainable energy supply, which implies optimized use of energy, minimized pollution. That is why wind energy is prominent and it is...

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...
